1. How did Dr. Shah present the numbers, but also the story? Was he relatable?

I feel like Dr. Shah did not focus on numbers at all; he more so focused on the three key goals of the funding. While data & numbers are important, they often get lost in the public message or are not understood. By focusing more on the story and using the football metaphor he was likely able to reach more people. I felt like he was a good speaker and strong with his words, however I think his testimony could have been stronger. He could have continued to explain how a football team only focused on the QB will ultimately fail. He could have also used a metaphor to better explain how public health is reactive and isn't building and preparing for future outbreaks and environmental disasters (which could have helped loop back to his point about the big picture: climate change). Maybe I'm a little too critical...
