With the custom rules Lyme MTTT, there appears to different test result rules per lab per LOINC. How are are other surveillance systems handling this request?

So far, there are three major labs reporting results three different ways. Is there a perferred or standard results method all labs will and can use?

Thank you!

Here is the Lyme MTTT document that I put together as part of the LOINC submission - hopefully that helps a little.

Hi Riki,

Thank you very much for this information regarding the Lyme MTTT LOINCs. I will be sharing this information with internal stakeholders.

What we are being faced with is there are three major Labs wanting to report Lyme MTTT results differently, resulting in our HIT having to write customized rules for each lab. Quest, LabCorp, and MAYO.

Is there anyway the labs can report the same way? In the information you provided, are you confirming the labs are reporting results per LOINC?

Thank you so much.

Respectfully,

I can reach out to those 3 labs and ask which of the tests each is running and review their code mapping, if you like.
