I am new to this workgroup, and I could no longer access the 3.basecamp.com for downloading any of the documents that you have discussed on the webinar. Could you please let me know if this is the correct website for basecamp? https:\\3.basecamp.com
I really need to be active in using the ArcGIS Spatial Analysis for our Prescription Drug Monitoring Data (PDMP). I have previously used The ESRI’s Spatial Analysis and the SATScan software tools when I worked on the Oklahoma Public Health Environmental Tracking project data. Currently, I am only using the ArcGIS for mapping rates of drug prescription prescribing by county (and several other analytical outcomes), and I would like to do more with the Spatial Analysis.
I will be attending the upcoming CSTE meeting in North Carolina, and would like to meet with you all there. I am now wondering if other health professionals from other States have any issues in accessing the Basecamp.com website.

The following are the questions that I will need to complete before our Informational Technology Group may consider my request for accessing the basecamp site.
The following information needs to be filled out for exemption to any type of file sharing website:
What site are you requesting access?
Users requesting access:
How long will you need this access?
What type of data is being shared?
Does the data have any sensitivity level (names, dates of birth, SSN’s, etc.) that would present a risk to any citizen or an agency if the data were to be compromised?
Is this the original and only copy of the data being shared, or is this a convenience copy?
To/from whom is this data being shared?
Is this for personal use?

Welcome to our Spatial Analysis Work group. While I will defer to Scott and Alyaa to respond regarding your issues accessing our Spatial Analysis Basecamp website, I can help answer the questions your IT group is asking, as I also needed to follow a somewhat similar policy here in Los Angeles County. Here are my responses, based on my own IT request to have access to the Basecamp website.
What site are you requesting access? CSTE Spatial Analysis Workgroup shared website:

Users requesting access: employee name, employee number (your information)
How long will you need this access? On-going access to the Basecamp website is requested so I can be an active group member of the CSTE Spatial Analysis Workgroup.
What type of data is being shared? Power Point, Word and/or PDF formatted documents to exchange information (including programming code) about GIS methods applicable to infectious and chronic epidemiological surveillance, health disparities, substance abuse prevention and treatment, etc.
Does the data have any sensitivity level (names, dates of birth, SSN’s, etc.) that would present a risk to any citizen or an agency if the data were to be compromised? No. However, our names and contact information (office phone, email address) may sometimes be included in one or more of the documents uploaded to Basecamp.
Is this the original and only copy of the data being shared, or is this a convenience copy? I can’t speak for others, but I have not uploaded any document that I don’t have a copy saved elsewhere.
To/from whom is this data being shared? Documents are shared to/from the Spatial Analysis Workgroup members.
Is this for personal use? No, access to the Spatial Analysis Workgroup website is for the professional enrichment of group members interested in learning more about GIS methods, techniques, etc. and for sharing learning materials and programming code related to GIS projects.
Please let me know if you have any questions and/or comments. I also plan on attending the CSTE conference in June, hopefully there will be some opportunity to meet as a group and discuss our professional interest in GIS projects.
