Ad Hoc Committees

Ad Hoc Committees, which now include Steering Committees, may be established or abolished by the EB from time
to time to conduct the work of CSTE.

Types of Membership

Membership is clarified as being either Individual Membership or Council Membership, with separate dues for each.

Definitions of “CSTE” and “Council”

“CSTE” now refers to the organization Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists. “Council,” which previously
described the organization, is now defined as the voting body.

Grammar and Other Outdated Language

Throughout the bylaws, CSTE fixed grammatical errors, updated language out of legal compliance, and revised
passages that no longer align with current organizational practice.
