Can you guys please create a clean version of the document that incorporates all the track changes up to this point?? It's pretty hard to follow what is going on in the current document with all the track changes from different people, especially since the document formatting doesn't allow you to add track changes in the actual text boxes or figures.
It would be alot easier to read through if we could have an updated document to edit and then just keep the old drafts for the records

I agree with Hannah. If it's possible, a clean version would be much easier to work on.


I'm having a difficult time as well since the open source "word" application I'm using doesn't allow me to move the comments to the last page.

Hi Everyone,
I created a simplified version for myself to make it easier to read. I'm attaching it for review. I noticed when running some data that it could be very challenging to include sex and age group on the same graph. In my simplified version I broke that into 2 separate graphs - 1 for sex at birth and one for age group. Also, because death numbers are so low by race/ethnicity our state will probably go with hospitalizat

ions or ED visits, especially if we're using only one year of data. The other thought I had was to create a "Quick Facts" section similar to what was in the SER on older adult fall injuries. This way we could highlight lots of facts related to seat belt use in our state: primary vs secondary law, % of seat belt use, % of alcohol involvement, teenage driving characteristics and so forth.

Thanks for cleaning it up Beth! We haven't had a chance to make any of the edits yet, so feel free to use Beth's clean version, or just add your comments to the original version that Kristen posted above and we'll compile it all. We appreciate your work on this!

Hi Beth, Thanks so much for cleaning up the most recent version of the MV template.  I really like it.  (Sorry, I've been out of the loop for a while working the COVID-19 response).  My only suggestion is that if we breakdown MV Hospitalizations by Age and by Race/ethnicity, I vote to include Nonfatal (Hospitalizations) by Sex at birth. I do like how they are broken out all separately.  I see there is an 'OR' in that graph.  Everything else looks great.  Thank you everyone!
