Leadership

CSTE is led by a 10-member Executive Board that represents the broad surveillance and epidemiology expertise of our organization.
Executive Board members are both nominated and elected by the larger CSTE membership and serve three-year terms. Four Steering
Committee chairs and two Cross Cutting members-at-large oversee the work of our 60+ subcommittees and workgroups and represent
key needs in meetings with partners and CDC principals. Subcommittee chairs themselves drive progress on pressing issues while
fostering an environment that allows new members to ask questions and seek consensus. We recognize and celebrate their commitment
here and encourage new members to seek their own leadership role within CSTE.
